This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 2 wins and 3 losses; Chad Strdoza! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 4 losses; Desi Kraag! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Robert Twigg.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Kraag is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Strdoza seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Kraag fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kraag tries to close the distance and clinch but Strdoza swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Strdoza keeps the fight on the outside. Kraag is looking to take this fight into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Strdoza circles away from the clinch attempt.
Strdoza drops down looking for a counter takedown but Kraag sprawls and moves away. Kraag tries to clinch up. Kraag is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Strdoza changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Kraag tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Strdoza jumps guard but Kraag stands there with Strdoza around his waist. Strdoza gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Kraag gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Strdoza regains guard.
Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Strdoza (0) vs (2) Kraag We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Strdoza working for a triangle but Kraag defends it easily.
Strdoza keeping moving, preventing Kraag from controlling successfully. Kraag stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Strdoza swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kraag wants to pass the guard but Strdoza is keeping the position. Kraag keeps trying to improve his position. Kraag really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Strdoza. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kraag wants to control from the top but Strdoza keeps moving. Strdoza might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Strdoza looking for a guillotine here but Kraag defends easily.
Strdoza working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kraag doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kraag manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kraag is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Kraag stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Strdoza swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kraag is still trying to improve position. Strdoza escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kraag gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Strdoza looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Strdoza controls Kraag momentarily but Kraag frees himself. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Strdoza is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Kraag rolls with it to try and escape but Strdoza cranks on the arm and Kraag is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
