Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hudson Graves (ranked 4320 p4p, 5675 weight class) and Kendrick Sosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hudson Graves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kendrick Sosa! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sosa closes the distance and pushes Graves back into the cage. Graves successfully pulls guard.
Graves controls Sosa momentarily but Sosa frees himself. Graves is looking for a triangle here but Sosa uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Sosa is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Graves's shoulder. That is not cool. Graves is looking to regain half guard here but Sosa keeps moving and retains side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. You can see the frustration on Graves's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sosa moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Sosa's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Graves is trying to control Sosa's posture but Sosa avoids it. Graves tries to improve position but can't. Graves struggling a bit here. A lull in the action here as Sosa stalls from top position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sosa rushes Graves and presses him up against the cage. Graves is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Sosa is keeping busy. Graves trying to control the position but instead, Sosa has worked for underhooks and has pushed Graves into the cage. Graves works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Sosa looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Graves is looking to stand up but Sosa won't let him. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Graves tries to break free but Sosa pushes him back against the cage. Graves tightens his grip and picks Sosa up, before dumping him to the ground. Sosa manages to land in guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sosa can do anything to dispel that myth. Sosa looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Graves accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Graves trying to control but Sosa is working from the bottom. Sosa wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Graves trying to control the position from guard on top but Sosa is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Graves throwing strikes from guard but Sosa blocks nicely.

The fighters are battling for position here. Graves manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Graves being controlled here, momentarily. Graves wants to sweep but no luck.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Graves has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sosa can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Graves is looking to sweep but instead, Sosa has passed into half guard.
Graves tries to kick Sosa off in order to stand up. Sosa Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Graves tries to buck Sosa off but Sosa is having none of it. Graves tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Sosa controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sosa is trying to stick to Graves's back but Graves is turning into Sosa. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Sosa's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Graves. Sosa is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Graves defends well. Sosa preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Sosa is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Graves got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sosa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Graves has managed to get both his arms back between Sosa's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sosa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Graves can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Graves missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Graves postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Sosa is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Graves, into his guard.

Graves fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sosa to the ground. Graves is now in Sosa's guard. Sosa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Graves gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sosa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Graves can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Sosa keeping moving, preventing Graves from controlling successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Graves throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Graves would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Graves wants to pass the guard but Sosa is keeping the position. Graves avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Sosa has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Graves is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sosa. Sosa is trying to work for a sweep but Graves has mounted him! Sosa is squirming around, avoiding Graves's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Graves misses with some ground and pound and Sosa recovers position to half guard. Sosa desperately trying to maintain half guard. Graves trying to pass the guard but Sosa defending well. Sosa is trying to maintain the position but Graves is very close to passing his half guard. Sosa controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Sosa wants to get back to full guard but Graves has passed into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Graves trying to control the action but Sosa is working from the bottom. Graves tries to move to mount but Sosa blocks the move with his legs. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Graves laying and praying for a moment but Sosa takes advantage and regains half guard. Sosa looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Sosa has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Graves is working away from the top position though. Graves is trying to control. Sosa wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Graves changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sosa looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Sosa wants to control but Graves postures up. Hudson Graves has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kendrick Sosa is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Sosa regains half guard, as Graves was trying to land strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! Hudson Graves showed his dominance in that final round. I think Sosa has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
