The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Mccann.
Richardson dives in and scores a takedown into Mccann's guard.
Richardson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Richardson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Mccann working a defensive guard but Richardson passes into half guard.
Richardson is controlling the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
