Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matthew Quigley (ranked 686 p4p, 693 weight class) and Minato Tokugawa (ranked 108 p4p, 109 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 25 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Matthew Quigley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Minato Tokugawa! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tokugawa wants to clinch up but Quigley keeps it at a distance. Quigley is looking for a counter combo. Tokugawa has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Tokugawa closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Quigley throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Tokugawas head. Tokugawa tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Quigley's elbow. Quigley lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Tokugawa takes a shot to the head. Quigley takes a shot to the head. Tokugawa misses with some punches.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tokugawa lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Tokugawa tries a body shot but Quigley blocks it.
Tokugawa lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Tokugawa misses with a body punch.
Quigley tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Tokugawa's elbow. Quigley misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Quigley takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
That's one minute gone in the round. A right handed body shot lands from Tokugawa.
I was talking to Quigley's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Tokugawa lands a left hand that snaps the head of Quigley backwards. Tokugawa lands a nice shot to the body. Quigley lands a body shot in the clinch.
Tokugawa lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Quigley backwards. Tokugawa prevents a body shot from Quigley. Tokugawa scores with an uppercut up the middle. A head punch on the inside from Quigley fails to land. Tokugawa working aggressively here.
Quigley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Tokugawa blocks a jab. Quigley misses with a lunging right hand
and Tokugawa counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Matthew Quigley has been cut. Tokugawa misses with a looping right. Quigley misses with a double jab.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tokugawa! But no joy. Tokugawa ducks under a wild hook from Quigley.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tokugawa is looking to clinch. This has been an exciting period of action! Quigley rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
letting Tokugawa counter with a right hand. Tokugawa loads up on a big right hand but Quigley slips the punch. Quigley has a takedown stuffed. Tokugawa looks like he wants to counter punch here. Quigley moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Tokugawa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Quigley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tokugawa takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Quigley circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tokugawa slips under a jab from Quigley. Quigley misses with an uppercut. Quigley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tokugawa throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Tokugawa slips under a jab. Quigley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tokugawa lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Tokugawa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Quigley swats him away and circles back towards the center. Tokugawa lands a big right hand that sends Quigley crashing to the mat! Tokugawa stays standing though and waves Quigley back to his feet!
Quigley is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tokugawa closes the distance and clinches. Tokugawa misses with a hook to the ribs.
Quigley misses with a hook from the clinch. Quigley tries to work over Tokugawa's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. A shot in the inside from Tokugawa. Quigley lands with a short head shot on the inside. Tokugawa lands with a right to the head. Tokugawa gets through Quigley's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Tokugawa lands a nice uppercut. Quigley blocks a body shot from Tokugawa. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Minato Tokugawa dominated that round. The cut man is working on Matthew Quigley's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Tokugawa misses with a hook. Quigley missing with a left hand there. Tokugawa was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Quigley uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Tokugawa. Tokugawa scores with a jab to the body. Tokugawa throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Quigley stumbling backwards into the cage! Quigley bounces back off the cage towards Tokugawa, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Tokugawa lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Tokugawa celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Minato Tokugawa! During a confident post fight interview, Minato Tokugawa thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
