Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bo Brands (ranked 24808 p4p, 4256 weight class) and Jackson Gorfiene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Brands looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Brands shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gorfiene is trying to defend but Brands finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Brands fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gorfiene sprawls well initially but Brands persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Gorfiene shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Gorfiene was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Brands is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Gorfiene rolls with it to try and escape but Brands cranks on the arm and Gorfiene is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
