Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marski Martola!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 53 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tapad Amiga!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martola scores with a jab to the head.
Amiga closes the distance and clinches up with Martola, looking for a takedown. Amiga pushes Martola against the cage but Martola circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Martola changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
No joy there for Martola, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Martola lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
The crowd cheers as Martola lands an impressive looking overhand right. Amiga doesn't seem phased though.
Amiga is rocked!
Martola closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Amiga! Martola dives in looking to finish! Amiga is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marski Martola!
An out of breath Marski Martola thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
