Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Anora (ranked 3298 p4p, 3294 weight class) and Daniel Pawlikowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anora's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, LXST CXNTURY - AMNESIA. Anora has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricardo Anora! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 24 - 1, fighting out of London, Daniel Pawlikowski! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pawlikowski rushes Anora and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Pawlikowski pulls guard successfully.
Pawlikowski doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Anora is fighting to break Pawlikowski's control of his arms but Pawlikowski is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Anora trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Anora is breathing heavily. Pawlikowski is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Pawlikowski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Pawlikowski trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pawlikowski pulls Anora in close to prevent any damage. Pawlikowski tries to strike from the bottom.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Pawlikowski wriggles free and stands up.

Pawlikowski pushes Anora up against the cage in a clinch. Anora is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Pawlikowski gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Pawlikowski gets a trip takedown into half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Pawlikowski lands a nice short elbow. Anora is looking to improve his position.
Pawlikowski tries to pass to full mount but Anora defends it. Anora is looking for a sweep. Pawlikowski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Pawlikowski looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pawlikowski is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Anora sees it coming and defends easily. Anora is trying to maintain the position but Pawlikowski is very close to passing his half guard. Pawlikowski decides to return to a standing position. A punch lands to the side of Anora 's head but he takes it in his stride. Pawlikowski moves into range and clinches up with Anora.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anora is trying to drag Pawlikowski to the mat but Pawlikowski just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Anora tries to pull guard but Pawlikowski won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricardo Anora. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pawlikowski has hold of one of Anora's legs. Anora is fighting the takedown attempt but Pawlikowski gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Pawlikowski wants to control from the top but Anora keeps moving. Pawlikowski scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Pawlikowski is working Anora over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Anora looking to control.

Anora is in trouble now - Pawlikowski has advanced to mount! Anora is working to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Anora tries to improve his position but Pawlikowski has taken his back! Pawlikowski has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Anora tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Pawlikowski pushes Anora away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
