Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Rodriguez (ranked 4268 p4p, 2850 weight class) and Amr Zeineldin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jorge Rodriguez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Amr Zeineldin! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rodriguez closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Zeineldin's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rodriguez slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Zeineldin wants to sweep here but Rodriguez controlling him for the moment. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zeineldin can do anything to dispel that myth. Rodriguez trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Rodriguez preventing the sweep. Rodriguez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Rodriguez chips away with some ground and pound. Rodriguez distracts Zeineldin with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Rodriguez sitting in guard, not really doing much. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rodriguez has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zeineldin wants to improve his position but instead Rodriguez has moved into half guard.
Zeineldin keeping hold of Rodriguez's head, controlling as best he can. Zeineldin is trying to get back to full guard. Rodriguez lands strikes from half guard. Rodriguez controlling the action here. Zeineldin is trying to control but Rodriguez passes into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rodriguez taking a breather here. Zeineldin tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Rodriguez easily slips into full mount! Rodriguez controlling the position easily from mount. Rodriguez with a couple of short strikes. Rodriguez content just to control the position here. Rodriguez's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Zeineldin is rocked!
It looks like Amr Zeineldin has been cut. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rodriguez postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Zeineldin in real trouble here! The ref calls for Zeineldin to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
