Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between alex lane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mehmedalija Drvo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). lane comes to the cage accompanied by shut up women get on my horse. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
lane swats away the attempt to clinch by Drvo.

lane keeps the fight on the outside.
lane changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Drvo tries to avoid it but lane manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Drvo to the ground. Drvo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Drvo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Drvo moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like alex lane has been cut.

lane manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Drvo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

lane is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Drvo manages to escape and get back to his feet!
