Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lian Belmiro (ranked 2120 p4p, 1977 weight class) and Edmond Dantes (ranked 241 p4p, 232 weight class). Edmond Dantes will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lian Belmiro!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edmond Dantes!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belmiro lands a really nice looking cross but Dantes seems unphased.
Dantes throws a lazy right hand but Belmiro sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
It looked like Belmiro wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Belmiro shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dantes counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Dantes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Belmiro paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Belmiro throwing a counter right hand but Dantes manages to avoid it.
Dantes tries to work over Belmiro's front leg with a kick but Belmiro checks it.
Belmiro tries to counter with a takedown but Dantes is quick to defend against it.
Dantes lands a big head kick that sends Belmiro tumbling to the mat! Dantes takes a step backwards and waves Belmiro back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Belmiro is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dantes lands with a thumping leg kick.
Oh Belmiro is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dantes sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Belmiro's defenses. It connects perfectly with Belmiro's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Edmond Dantes!
Edmond Dantes is the new lightweight champion!
Edmond Dantes very nearly forgot to thank Nevermore Clothing Co amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
