PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mateusz Kieliszkowski (ranked 2412 p4p, 1763 weight class) and Gordon Hunter (ranked 296 p4p, 239 weight class). Hunter has chosen King of Curses as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hunter shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hunter showed some decent athleticism there.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Hunter is pressing down on Kieliszkowski's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kieliszkowski is holding on for now.

Hunter seems to be working for a kimura but Kieliszkowski defends the submission attempt.

Hunter swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Kieliszkowski is now in Hunter's guard. A big mistake from Hunter there, giving up the dominant position!

Kieliszkowski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hunter has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kieliszkowski has managed to get both his arms back between Hunter's legs - danger averted.

Kieliszkowski thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Gordon Hunter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
