Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gil Brother (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Skorski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skorski bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Brother is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Skorski thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Skorski tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Brother is looking for a sweep. Skorski working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Brother tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skorski stands up and beckons Brother to his feet. Brother throws the left hand but Skorski avoids the punch easily. Skorski dives in and grabs Brother's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brother pushes down on Skorski's head and hops out. Brother doesn't manage to clinch there - Skorski circles away.

Skorski is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Skorski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Skorski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gil Brother will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Skorski postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Brother is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Skorski, into his guard. Brother trying to control the position from guard on top but Skorski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skorski avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brother looking to sit in guard and control but Skorski gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Skorski drops back looking for a leg! Brother is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brother manages to kick Skorski off! Skorski jumps back into Brother's guard. Brother is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Skorski wants to control from the top but Brother keeps moving. Brother might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Brother lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Skorski! Brother is going olschool here, as he tries to force Skorski to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Skorski shrugs it off. Skorski holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Brother tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Skorski wants to control but Brother is having none of it. Skorski really wants to buck Brother off and get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gil Brother dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Skorski takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Skorski. Skorski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Brother defends it nicely. Brother thows a body shot but no joy. Brother scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Skorski shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Skorski keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Skorski shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Brother counters with a straight right hand. Gil Brother has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Skorski. Brother wants to clinch up but Skorski keeps it at a distance. Skorski throws a nice looking combination but Brother bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Brother lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Skorski circles away quickly and effectively. Brother scores with a shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Brother looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Skorski tries for a takedown but Brother sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. No joy there for Brother, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Brother does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Brother gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Brother throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Skorski escapes and throws Brother's legs to the side, diving into side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brother struggling a bit here. Brother regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Skorski maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Brother could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Skorski has cracked it and Brother is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Skorski!
