Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yawa Kiang (ranked 23930 p4p, 23866 weight class) and Way Nada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 30 - 49 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yawa Kiang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 37 - 42 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Way Nada! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Nada shoots in but Kiang avoids the takedown attempt easily. Nada tries for a takedown but Kiang sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kiang is looking for a counter combo. Kiang tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Nada defends well and Kiang ends up having to push Nada into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Nada follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Kiang wants a takedown but no success here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nada is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kiang pulls him back up using the underhooks. Yawa Kiang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Way Nada. Kiang pulls Nada into guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Nada controlling from the top position. It looks like Nada might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Nada preventing the sweep.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Kiang drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nada wants to control but Kiang postures up. Nada is looking to regain half guard here but Kiang keeps moving and retains side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kiang remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! Yawa Kiang dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! Kiang shoots for a double leg takedown but Nada sprawls well. He's pushed Kiang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nada is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Kiang keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kiang throws a quick counter kick to the body but Nada avoids it. Nada feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kiang is pulling down on Nada's head to control his posture.

Let's hope that Nada has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Nada accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Nada engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Kiang controlling Nada's posture.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Kiang scores with a nice body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiang looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Nada tries to roll over but Kiang keeps him under control. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nada has his hands clasped together around Kiang's back. He's all about the action. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kiang sitting and controlling from the half guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Way Nada will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Nada. Kiang is looking to counter with a body kick. Nada fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kiang to the ground. Nada is now in Kiang's guard. Kiang wriggles free and stands up. Nada has a takedown stuffed. Kiang went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kiang tries a head kick but it misses.
Nada thinks about the counter body kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nada feints and as Kiang raises his hands in defense, Nada changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Kiang pulls Nada in close to prevent any damage. Nada looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Nada stopping the sweep attempt from Kiang.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kiang controlling the position. Nada is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Nada stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kiang swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kiang trying to control the position here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Nada decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kiang tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Nada has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Nada controlling his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kiang is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Way Nada comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Nada has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
