Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hobert Nye!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Lawson!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nye forces Lawson back against the cage and clinches.

I was talking to Nye's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Nye lands with a light punch inside.

Nye breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lawson is still on wobbly legs! Can Nye finish him?
Nye sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Lawson's defenses. It connects perfectly with Lawson's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
