The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Nunez has Birdwhistle up against the ropes in a clinch.
Birdwhistle tightens his grip and picks Nunez up, before dumping him to the ground. Nunez manages to land in guard. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Nunez tries to get out of the position. Birdwhistle looking to pass the guard. Nunez is fighting to maintain full guard but Birdwhistle has managed to sneak the leg through. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
