This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 1 wins and 2 losses; Nicandro Aloisio!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Hirohito Nitta.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious?
Munson instigates a clinch.
Munson tries to pull guard but Aloisio forces him back to his feet, against the ropes.
Munson is pressed up against the ropes. Aloisio has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Munson down to the mat. Munson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Munson pushes Aloisio up against the ropes in a clinch.
Munson drags the fight down to the ground.
Munson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Aloisio is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Aloisio tries to free his leg and advance position but Munson is retaining full guard.
Munson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Aloisio trying to control but Munson is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aloisio is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Aloisio slips nicely into half guard.

Aloisio is looking to take a break and control but Munson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Munson is looking for a sweep. Aloisio is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Aloisio is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Munson is just riding it out for now. Aloisio eventually gives up the hold.
Munson is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Aloisio pulls his head out easily.
Munson wants to improve his position but Aloisio is controlling well.

The fighters are battling for position here. Munson manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Aloisio is posturing up here but Munson has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Aloisio tries to roll out but it's too tight and Aloisio has to tap! Slick submission there by Munson!
