Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Javon Jefferson (ranked 4176 p4p, 4040 weight class) and Shane Boran (ranked 0 p4p, 406 weight class). Jefferson comes into the arena with Zoey Dollaz - It's Ok (feat. A Boogie wit da Hoodie) blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Javon Jefferson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jefferson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Boran has time to react.

Boran shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jefferson's guard.

Boran has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Boran thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Boran is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Boran drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Boran as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Jefferson screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Boran! Nice submission victory there!
