The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Nelson closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Nelson is controlling an arm, preventing Lavicci from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Lavicci patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
I really don't envy Nelson right now.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Lavicci's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Lavicci is stalling here. Nelson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Lavicci seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Nelson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Lavicci is pulling down on Nelson's head. It's preventing any offense from Nelson, at least for the moment.
