The crowd seem to be enjoying Deane's choice of entrance music: Cinderella Man. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Deane misses its intended target.
Deane throws out a powerful jab.
Deane looks to throw the jab but Ferguson is out of range.
Ferguson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Deane throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Ferguson counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Deane has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Khabib Ferguson!
After the fight, Khabib Ferguson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
