Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Buck Shmuck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Homer Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Remember the Name kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Buck Shmuck! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Homer Burns! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid body kick from Shmuck. Shmuck shoots in and bounces Burns off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Shmuck working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Burns trying to keep a closed guard but Shmuck is proving a slippery customer.
Shmuck stopping the sweep attempt from Burns. Shmuck postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Burns really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shmuck. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Shmuck content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Shmuck wants to control from the top but Burns keeps moving. Shmuck with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Shmuck trying to control the position from guard on top but Burns is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Shmuck loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Burns keeping moving, preventing Shmuck from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Shmuck. Burns trying to keep a closed guard but Shmuck is proving a slippery customer.
Shmuck throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Burns works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Shmuck lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Burns fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Shmuck avoids it really well and circles away. Burns punishes Shmuck's body with a nice straight punch. Shmuck is looking to clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Burns throws a series of punches but Shmuck avoids them all with ease. Burns misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Shmuck moves into the clinch. Burns goes for a takedown attempt but Shmuck pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Shmuck shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Burns napping and manages to drive through into side control! Shmuck in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Shmuck tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Shmuck is trying to get an arm triangle but Burns is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shmuck is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Burns has escaped the position, nice work there. Burns takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Shmuck is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Burns knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Shmuck wants to control but Burns is keeping him busy. Burns sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Burns can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Burns throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Burns controlling the position for now. Burns is looking to improve his position.
Shmuck works his way into side control. Shmuck stands up and we're back to a striking position. Shmuck on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Shmuck wants to clinch up but Burns keeps it at a distance. Burns drives through with a takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Buck Shmuck dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Nice sprawl there from Burns as Shmuck shoots in. Shmuck doesn't manage to clinch there - Burns circles away.
Burns stuns Shmuck with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Burns misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Burns lands with a right hand. The fighters circle momentarily. Burns darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Burns bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shmuck throws a big shot that misses. Burns shoots in for a takedown but Shmuck shows good takedown defense. Burns shoots for a takedown but Shmuck saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Buck Shmuck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Homer Burns. Shmuck scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Shmuck throws a combination that misses and Burns counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Shmuck falls off balance throwing a combination
and Shmuck takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Shmuck lands with a nice combination. Burns backs away looking to recover.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shmuck gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Burns counters with a lovely shot to the body. Excellent takedown into side control there by Burns. Shmuck has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Shmuck is looking to reverse the position. Shmuck is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Shmuck throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Shmuck tries to roll over but Burns keeps him under control. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Shmuck is staying active underneath Burns, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Burns blocks the strikes from Shmuck.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Shmuck is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Burns scores with a couple of nice shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shmuck pushes Burns off looking to stand but Burns dives back in and keeps control.
Burns takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Shmuck misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A punch combination from Shmuck misses. Burns tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Shmuck was well out of range. Poor timing from Burns. Shmuck with a poor takedown letting Burns counter with a right hand. Shmuck throws a left and a right that both miss
and Burns counters with a right hand to the body. Burns avoids a punch combination nicely.
Burns is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Shmuck rather than just go for the knockout.

Burns scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Shmuck throws Burns to one side and escapes! Shmuck shoots and misses and Burns counters with a nice double leg into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Burns scoring with some ground and pound. Burns working some strikes from top position. Burns makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Burns stays in close to Shmuck's body and controls the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Homer Burns showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Burns is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Shmuck keeping moving, preventing Burns from controlling successfully. Shmuck looking for a sweep. Not yet Shmuck, not yet. Burns trying to control the position from guard on top but Shmuck is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Burns is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Burns with a nice head shot there. Shmuck has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Burns can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Burns postures up and lands a big shot to Shmuck's brow. Shmuck tries to land a sweep but no joy. Shmuck is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Burns distracts Shmuck with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Shmuck looking for a guillotine here but Burns defends easily.
Burns must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Shmuck is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Shmuck is looking for a triangle here but Burns uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Burns lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Shmuck down.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shmuck tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Burns wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Shmuck throws an elbow to the body but it doesn't land. Check out the look on Burns's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Burns is looking to take a break and control but Shmuck is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Shmuck tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Burns wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Homer Burns has got the better of the ground game so far. Burns working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Shmuck sneaks back into half guard. Shmuck looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Burns looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Shmuck has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Burns is working away from the top position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Burns frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Burns fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Burns controlling the position easily from mount. Shmuck flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Burns unloading with bombs! Burns lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Shmuck hang on? Shmuck working to try and regain half guard.

Burns wants to control the pace but Shmuck is squirming around nicely. Burns lands with some strikes. Shmuck's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Shmuck is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Shmuck is desperately trying to improve his position but Burns has a good base and remains in mount. Burns looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Burns trying to control but Shmuck is having none of it. Shmuck tries to get back to half guard but can't.
And that's the end of the fight! Homer Burns comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Burns has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
