Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Pawlikowski (ranked 2507 p4p, 3704 weight class) and Ricardo Anora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Anora's choice of entrance music: LXST CXNTURY - AMNESIA. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricardo Anora!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pawlikowski throws a leg kick

and Anora counters with a shoot takedown. Pawlikowski fights it but they end up in guard.
Pawlikowski manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Anora manages to get himself to full guard.

Anora is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Anora pulls Pawlikowski in close to prevent any damage.
Anora is trying to control the position from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pawlikowski wanted to stand there but Anora had control of the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Anora is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Pawlikowski pulls Anora in close to his closed guard and prevents Anora from doing any damage or advancing position.

and Pawlikowski counters with a three punch combo that has Anora backing up. Anora nods at Pawlikowski to acknowledge the strikes.
Pawlikowski throws a series of strikes that have Anora backpedaling.

It looks like Ricardo Anora has been cut.
Daniel Pawlikowski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Pawlikowski shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Anora is looking for a sweep. Pawlikowski is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Anora slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Pawlikowski wants to control from the top but Anora keeps moving.
Anora controls Pawlikowski momentarily but Pawlikowski frees himself.

Anora looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Pawlikowski has picked Anora up and slammed him! Anora can't keep hold of the triangle and Pawlikowski manages to pass to side control!

Pawlikowski clinches up with Anora and pushes him back against the cage.

Anora pulls guard successfully.
Pawlikowski throws a big elbow that misses.
Pawlikowski tries to stand but Anora is controlling from the bottom.

Anora working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pawlikowski doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pawlikowski manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Anora has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Pawlikowski clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Anora is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Pawlikowski won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Anora off his unconscious opponent!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ricardo Anora!
