PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harun Aydin (ranked 2525 p4p, 4632 weight class) and Dominik Dlask (ranked 282 p4p, 424 weight class). Aydin's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Mockingbird - Eminem. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Dominik Dlask!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aydin doesn't manage to clinch there - Dlask circles away.
Aydin takes a swing at Dlask's ribcage but misses.
Aydin pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Aydin throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Aydin looks to score with a jab to the body but Dlask is just out of range.
Aydin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Horrible takedown attempt by Dlask or perhaps it was just good defense by Aydin, which made it look bad.
Aydin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nice takedown defense from Aydin. No joy for Dlask on that attempt.
Aydin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dlask manages to avoid it.
A jab from Aydin does it's job there.

Dlask shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Aydin is looking to control Dlask's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Aydin avoid being mounted?

Aydin looking for submissions off his back.
Aydin is looking for a sweep. Dlask is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Dlask is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Aydin!

Aydin wants to hold on but Dlask pushes him away.

Dlask lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Aydin gets back to half guard.

Aydin tries to roll over but Dlask keeps him under control.
Aydin has hold of Dlask's hands but Dlask slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Dlask is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Aydin is rocked!

Oh Aydin is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Aydin is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dlask pulls his head out easily.

Dlask is nestled in close to Aydin, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Aydin is trying to control but can't.
Dlask lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Aydin! More strikes land and this one is all over! Dlask jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
