Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chad Hammer (ranked 1864 p4p, 1352 weight class) and Beanin Jiet (ranked 219 p4p, 170 weight class). Chad Hammer is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chad Hammer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Beanin Jiet!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hammer fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jiet manages to avoid it.
A little jabbing left from Jiet on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Jiet takes a shot right to the bread basket.

I was talking to Hammer's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round but I would say that Chad Hammer will probably get the nod.

Hammer has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
