The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gentry lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Horrible takedown attempt by Hastings or perhaps it was just good defense by Gentry, which made it look bad.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hastings has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Gentry after a bit of a struggle.

Billy Gentry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Hastings.

Gentry is pressed up against the ropes. Hastings has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gentry down to the mat. Gentry avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gentry lands a huge knee in the clinch and it's knocked Hastings out! Massive knee - he's celebrating with his corner and the crowd showing their appreciation!

In his post fight interview, Billy Gentry started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
