Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Paul Nichols (ranked 2664 p4p, 2534 weight class) and Sean Faolin (ranked 326 p4p, 313 weight class). Faolin has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Faolin scores with a hook to the body. Nichols takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Faolin looks winded!
Nice uppercut lands for Nichols. That snapped Faolin's head back.
Nichols throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Nichols connects with the punch.
Faolin walks into a stiff left hand from Nichols.
Nichols wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nichols connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Faolin throws a hook but Nichols avoids it easily.
Faolin's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Nichols connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Faolin scrambles back to his feet.
Faolin is rocked!
and Nichols counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Faolin! He's just covering up as Nichols starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Paul Nichols!
In defeat, Sean Faolin stepped up to the mic, saying 'Fook off ye cheeky coont.'.
