Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ralfe Gracie (ranked 2342 p4p, 3390 weight class) and Flash Evans (ranked 168 p4p, 229 weight class). Evans has chosen Escape From The City as his entrance music. Ralfe Gracie had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Flash Evans!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans misses with a few strikes there.
A right-left combo lands from Evans.
A combination from Evans does no damage.
Gracie attempts a counter takedown but Evans avoids it well and moves away.

Evans gets in close and instigates a clinch.
We've been hearing reports that Gracie has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Evans can't break the clinch.
Gracie is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Gracie will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Evans up against the cage.

Evans has picked Gracie up - he's going for a ride! Evans dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Gracie regains full guard. Nicely done.
Evans preventing the sweep.
Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Evans's guard.

Evans can't keep his opponent in guard - Gracie advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Evans is concentrating on defense, preventing Gracie from advancing position.

Gracie seems to be working for a kimura but Evans defends the submission attempt.

Evans pushes Gracie off and gets back to his feet.
Gracie shoots in and drives through. Evans sprawls well.
Gracie takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Evans throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Gracie is rocked!
Evans throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Evans connects with a superb combination that knocks Gracie out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Evans before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Gracie!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Flash Evans!
A very excited looking Flash Evans rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
