Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bilal Semyonov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jacob Song! The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Song takes a swing at Semyonov's ribcage but misses. Semyonov fails to land the takedown. Song misses with a wild body shot. Song misses with a wild combination.
Semyonov really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Song misses with a two punch combination.
No joy there for Song, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A combination from Song does no damage. Semyonov is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Song. Song throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Song wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A looping hook to the body misses from Song. Semyonov does a little dance to reset his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Semyonov fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Song avoids it really well and circles away. Song tries to clinch but Semyonov moves out of range. Semyonov shoots in for a takedown but Song shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bilal Semyonov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Semyonov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Song pinned against the cage. Song gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Semyonov is defended easily by Song. Song darts in trying to clinch and Semyonov counters with a head kick. Semyonov tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Song swivels and escapes. Song works the jab nicely. Semyonov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Song sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Semyonov somewhat. Semyonov is breathing heavily. Semyonov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Song is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Semyonov rather than just go for the knockout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Song steps into range and cracks Semyonov with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Semyonov flops backwards and Song dives into his guard looking to finish!
It looks like Bilal Semyonov has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Song scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Song landing some decent shots from guard.
Semyonov is rocked! Semyonov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Song defends well. Oh Semyonov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Song scores with a decent looking elbow strike. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Song scoring with punches to the head and body. Song content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Semyonov working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Song doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Song manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Song landing with the ground and pound. Song postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Semyonov tries to land a sweep but no joy. Semyonov seems to have got his legs back now. Semyonov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Song working some strikes from top position. Song throws a strike but Semyonov rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Semyonov throws a big elbow that misses. Song looking to hit a scissor sweep but Semyonov is one step ahead there. Semyonov with a flurry of punches that miss. Semyonov passes easily into side control. Nice work. Song is letting Semyonov control him for a moment. Semyonov will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jacob Song dominated that round. The cut man is working on Bilal Semyonov's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Semyonov looks for a takedown but Song sprawls well. Song just misses with a punch to the body.
Song looks to score with a jab to the body but Semyonov is just out of range. Song swings widly with a right hand
and Semyonov counters with a leg kick. Song lands a nice hook to Semyonov's body. Semyonov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Song has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Song lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Song. Song is pawing at Semyonov, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Semyonov's nose. Semyonov is badly hurt! Song pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Semyonov tries desperately to hold on but Song is relentless in his assault! As Semyonov receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Song away and this one is in the books!
