The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smackdown lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like creedense zigs has been cut.
Smackdown steps into range and cracks zigs with a monster punch that buckles his knees! zigs flops backwards and Smackdown dives into his guard looking to finish!
zigs is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
zigs has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Smackdown can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
zigs has his foot on Smackdown's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Smackdown works his way back into a safe position though.
Smackdown wants to stand but zigs has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
zigs controls Smackdown momentarily but Smackdown frees himself.
zigs is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
zigs looks gassed!

Smackdown stands up from zigs's guard - Smackdown perhaps looking for a knockout.
Smackdown attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
zigs shoots in but Smackdown avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nice combo by Smackdown! Oh, that's hurt him - zigs falls to the canvas and Smackdown follows him into side control.
zigs is still in real trouble! Can Smackdown finish him?
That has opened up creedense zigs's cut even more.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smackdown stands up.
Smackdown buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
zigs seems to have recovered his senses.

and Smackdown counters with a big right hand! Oh zigs is in trouble here! Smackdown follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
