Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akira misses with an attempted mid kick.
Akira tries for a takedown but Jacobson Ill sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jacobson Ill swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Akira pushes Jacobson Ill up against the cage in a clinch.
Jacobson Ill prevents a takedown attempt there.
Akira lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Jacobson Ill or not.
Akira trying to control the position but instead, Jacobson Ill has worked for underhooks and has pushed Akira into the cage.
Akira has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jacobson Ill is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Akira got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jacobson Ill has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Akira has managed to get both his arms back between Jacobson Ill's legs - danger averted.

Akira gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Akira shoots in looking for a takedown. Jacobson Ill tries to sprawl out of it but Akira keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jacobson Ill manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jacobson Ill clobbers Akira with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

and Jacobson Ill counters with a right hand to the body.

Akira tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jacobson Ill swivels and escapes.
Jacobson Ill throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Akira stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Jacobson Ill shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Jacobson Ill wants to control from the top but Akira keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Jacobson Ill postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Akira is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Akira tries to clinch but Jacobson Ill moves out of range.

Akira throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Jacobson Ill's waist but Jacobson Ill gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Akira off to one side.

It looks like Suzuki Akira has been cut.
Nice uppercut lands for Jacobson Ill. That snapped Akira's head back.
Jacobson Ill is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Akira takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Akira closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Akira takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Jacobson Ill cracks Akira with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Akira tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jacobson Ill pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Akira is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

A relieved looking Dylan Jacobson Ill thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
