These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lakatos pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Grimes shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lakatos defends it nicely.

Lakatos stuffs the takedown attempt from Grimes . Grimes gets slowly back to his feet.

Grimes closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Grimes is working to tighten his grip on Lakatos's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Lakatos has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Grimes is really squeezing tight and eventually Lakatos passes out! Grimes breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
