Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Curvers (ranked 4047 p4p, 4041 weight class) and Brogan Hess (ranked 413 p4p, 412 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Curvers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brogan Hess! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Curvers swats away the attempt to clinch by Hess. Curvers tries to counter with a takedown but Hess is quick to defend against it. Curvers closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Curvers is looking to stall here but Hess recovers full guard. Curvers looking to pass the guard. Hess is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Curvers looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Curvers tries to free his leg and advance position but Hess is retaining full guard. Curvers stays in close to Hess's body and controls the position. Curvers will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Curvers wants to control from the top but Hess keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hess manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Curvers manages to get himself to full guard.
Hess throws a big elbow that misses. Hess is stalling in the full guard. Hess trying to move into half guard but instead Curvers has managed to sweep! Curvers looking to pass the guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hess is on top in guard.
Hess tries to free his leg and advance position but Curvers is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hess wants to control from the top but Curvers keeps moving. Curvers wants to stand but Hess is controlling the position. Hess gets to his feet - Curvers follows without any prompting. Curvers takes a kick to the side of the head. Hess fails with an attempt to clinch.
Curvers gets a double leg takedown into Hess's guard. Hess is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Curvers presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hess has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Curvers is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Curvers prevents Hess from breaking the clinch. Hess gets control of Curvers's arms and successfully pulls guard. Hess will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Hess working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Curvers. Hess not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Curvers controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Hess is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Curvers is controlling him. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. Curvers pushes down on Hess's leg and manages to get into half guard. Nice strikes from Curvers there. Curvers trying to control the action but Hess is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hess looks like he's trying to stand up.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Brogan Hess will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Curvers throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hess was covering up waiting for the punch and Curvers finishes the takedown easily into guard. Hess has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Curvers is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. A battle for position here, against the cage. Hess changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Curvers fights it off and pushes away nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Curvers moves into the clinch. Curvers has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Hess clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
That's one minute gone in the round. Curvers keeps control of the position easily here as Hess tries to buck him off.
Curvers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hess on the ground. Hess is trying to get back to his feet but Curvers has full control of the position and if anything, Hess has just worked his way into a worse spot. Hess looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Hess breaks Curvers's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hess stands up from guard. Let's bang! Curvers moves into the clinch. Curvers turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Hess tries to buck Curvers off but Curvers is having none of it. Hess sneaks back into half guard. Hess is breathing heavily. Curvers sitting and controlling from the half guard. Curvers seems to be working for a kimura but Hess defends the submission attempt. Brogan Hess has got the better of the ground game so far. Curvers prevents Hess from standing back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Curvers looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Curvers throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Curvers wants to control but Hess is keeping him busy. The fighters are battling for position here. Hess manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Curvers wants to pass the guard but Hess is keeping the position. Curvers is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Curvers trying to control but Hess is working from the bottom. Hess pushes Curvers off and gets back to his feet.
Tom Curvers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Curvers fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hess to the ground. Curvers is now in Hess's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hess trying to control the position.
Curvers postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hess is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Curvers, into his guard.
Hess stands up and waves to Curvers to follow him. Curvers fails in his attempt to clinch. Hess tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Curvers is looking to take this fight into the clinch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Brogan Hess showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! Hess throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tom Curvers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hess has managed to clinch.

Hess has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Curvers avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Tom Curvers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brogan Hess. Curvers blocks an uppercut.

Curvers slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Hess takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Hess controls Curvers momentarily but Curvers frees himself. Curvers stays in close to Hess's body and controls the position. Curvers missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Curvers is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Curvers engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Curvers looking to pass the guard. Curvers has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Curvers is working hard here to advance position. Curvers stays in close to Hess's body and controls the position. Hess trying to keep a closed guard but Curvers is proving a slippery customer.
Curvers is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Curvers keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Hess misses with a body kick. Curvers tries to counter with a takedown but Hess is quick to defend against it. Curvers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Curvers keeps the fight on the outside. Curvers scores with a takedown into Hess's guard. Hess has his feet on Curvers's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Curvers darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Curvers looks to land a strike but Hess avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Curvers controlling from the top position. Curvers looking to pass the guard. Curvers controls from within his opponent's guard. Curvers is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hess has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Curvers is looking to defend but Hess has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Curvers! Hess pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Curvers taps out and this one is all over!
