Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between JD Drake (ranked 1551 p4p, 2786 weight class) and Kimbo Slaissi (ranked 93 p4p, 145 weight class). Drake comes to the cage accompanied by Born in the USA by - Bruce Springstein. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kimbo Slaissi!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Drake duly obliges.

It looks like Kimbo Slaissi has been cut.
Drake throws a right hand that Slaissi ducks under and follows up with a left that Slaissi also avoids with ease.
Slaissi cracks Drake with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

It looks like JD Drake has been cut.
Slaissi walks into a jab.
Slaissi walks straight into a right hand from Drake - that's dropped him! Drake jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Slaissi from any more punishment! Slaissi complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
