Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cleveland Brown!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kelly fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kelly lands a nice looking body shot.
Kelly checks a leg kick nicely.
Kelly fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brown avoids it really well and circles away.
Kelly throws and low kick but Brown moves out of range easily.
Brown scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Brown tries to clinch up.
Kelly fails to land with a series of punches.

Kelly scores with a takedown into Brown's guard.
Brown is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Kelly slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Brown keeping moving, preventing Kelly from controlling successfully.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kelly tries to free his leg and advance position but Brown is retaining full guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Brown throws a combination that misses
and Kelly counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kelly shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brown as he jumps to the side.

Kelly drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Kelly wants to control from the top but Brown keeps moving.
Brown pulls Kelly in close to his closed guard and prevents Kelly from doing any damage or advancing position.
Kelly is looking to work some ground and pound but Brown has wrist control.

Kelly trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Brown manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Brown being controlled here momentarily.
Kelly controls Brown momentarily but Brown frees himself.
Kelly throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Kelly working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Brown has passed into half guard!

Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kelly. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Brown is trying to control the action in half guard but Kelly is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Brown is looking to advance position but Kelly won't allow it.

Kelly rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brown moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kelly throws a lazy right hand but Brown sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kelly looks to score with a jab to the body but Brown is just out of range.
Brown wants to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Kelly to score with a decent uppercut.
Kelly just misses with a punch to the body.

Brown throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brown tries to clinch up but Kelly circles away and keeps his distance.
A bone on bone clash there as Kelly blocks the leg kick.
Brown fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kelly shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kelly avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kelly misses with a hook.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Kelly. Brown shrugs it off though.

Brown closes the distance and pushes Kelly back into the cage.
Brown lands an elbow inside that Kelly shrugs off.

Kelly tries to pull guard but Brown holds him up against the cage and eventually Kelly drops back down to his feet.

Brown's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kelly on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Kelly throws a shot from downtown. Brown moves away and avoids it.
Kelly throws a body punch but Brown moves out of range.
Kelly fails with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ken Kelly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kelly works over Brown's head and body with a nice combination.


It looks like Cleveland Brown has been cut.

Brown throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kelly.
Nice uppercut there from Brown.
Brown feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kelly's calf.
Ken Kelly is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Kelly moves out of range of the strikes.
Brown moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Brown chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Kelly gets the takedown into side control.
Brown wants to control but Kelly postures up.
Brown is looking for a sweep.
Kelly has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Brown!
Brown is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Kelly is going olschool here, as he tries to force Brown to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Brown shrugs it off.
Brown tries to lock up and control but Kelly gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Kelly wants to control the pace but Brown is squirming around nicely.

Kelly cracks Brown with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Kelly's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Kelly misses with a leg kick.
Brown cracks Kelly with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Kelly shoots in looking for a takedown. Brown tries to sprawl out of it but Kelly keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Brown manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kelly closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Brown did well to prevent Kelly getting side control.
Kelly wants to pass to mount but Brown is defending the position.

Kelly is working for a submission of some sort.
Brown is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Kelly thows a huge punch but Brown dodges it nicely.
Kelly is taking a breather. Brown says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Kelly is looking for a kimura here.
Brown trying to hold on to Kelly's head to control him but Kelly postures up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Kelly closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Brown wants to improve his position but Kelly is controlling well.

Kelly is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Brown sees it coming and defends easily.

Kelly is working for a kimura but Brown is defending it quite comfortably.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Kelly sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Brown defending well though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

I would just about give that final round to Cleveland Brown.
