Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam East (ranked 963 p4p, 1398 weight class) and Jello Belly (ranked 118 p4p, 177 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Adam East has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Adam East seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jello Belly!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and James Ackerman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
East lands a nice looking body shot.
East looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Belly throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Belly works over East's head and body with a nice combination.
Belly throws a right and a left that East avoids nicely.
East takes a swing at Belly's ribcage but misses.
Belly tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Belly throws a series of punches but East avoids them all with ease.
East moves out of range of the strikes.
East circles away from the clinch attempt.
Sloppy strikes from East. Those never looked like landing.
East is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

East needs to keep his hands up - Belly had a free shot at his head there.

East takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

A quick step to the side and East tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
East throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Belly sees it coming and avoids it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

East's jab looks to have found its range, popping Belly under the eye.

It looked like East was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

A quick step to the side and East tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
No joy there for Belly, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

East seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

and East counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Belly doesn't manage to clinch there - East circles away.
Belly shoots in for a double leg but East sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Adam East has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jello Belly.

East defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Belly.

East throws an overhand right that lands on Belly's shoulder, as Belly tries to avoid the shot.

and East counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Belly thinking.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and East counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
East throws a monster overhand right that drops Belly! East follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
