Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Benson Beckley (ranked 2134 p4p, 2583 weight class) and Tommy Fu (ranked 244 p4p, 290 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Benson Beckley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tommy Fu !
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fu slips a jab from Beckley.
Beckley takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Beckley had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fu defends it easily.
Beckley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fu doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fu manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Fu would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Beckley is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Fu dives into side control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Fu wants to stand but Beckley is controlling his arm.
Beckley tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fu wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Beckley is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Fu has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Fu throws a looping overhand right but Beckley ducks down to avoid it.
Beckley moves in looking to clinch but Fu pushes him off.
Fu doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Fu misses with an uppercut
and Beckley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Beckley connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Beckley throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Fu colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Beckley as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Fu is left battered and dazed whilst Beckley and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Benson Beckley!
