PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bernardo Cabral (ranked 682 p4p, 1899 weight class) and Tarquin Doomwood (ranked 89 p4p, 251 weight class). Doomwood has chosen Big No - Freddie Dredd as his entrance music. Cabral has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doomwood cracks Cabral with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Doomwood displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cabral.

Cabral looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Doomwood!
Cabral tries to move to mount but Doomwood blocks the move with his legs.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Doomwood can do anything to dispel that myth.
Doomwood is trying to improve his position.
Cabral trying to control the action but Doomwood is working from the bottom.
Cabral definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Cabral has hold of Doomwood's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Doomwood seems comfortable defending it but Cabral has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Doomwood is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Doomwood is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Cabral couldn't care less - he's delighted!
