Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Simpson can't do much from the bottom here.
Simpson is looking for a sweep.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Simpson seems a little lost for a moment, as Lee dominates the positioning.

Despite being in the dominant position, Vincent Lee just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lee shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Simpson controls Lee momentarily but Lee frees himself.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Simpson is on top in guard.
Lee is pulling down on Simpson's head. It's preventing any offense from Simpson, at least for the moment.

Simpson drops back looking for a leg! Lee is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lee manages to kick Simpson off! Simpson jumps back into Lee's guard.
Simpson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Lee changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Simpson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Lee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Simpson is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Lee frees his head nicely. Oh but Simpson has switched to an armbar! Lee is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
