Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 23843 p4p, 23796 weight class) and Kulata Bitok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 31 - 45 - 5, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 28 - 48 - 6, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kulata Bitok! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buktot closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Bitok did well to prevent Buktot getting side control. Buktot slows the pace down in half guard. Bitok wants to get back to full guard but Buktot has passed into side control. Bitok gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bitok wants to control but Buktot is keeping busy.
Buktot is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bitok keeps working. Buktot perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Bitok is trying to maintain the position but Buktot is very close to passing his half guard. Bitok wants to get back to full guard.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bitok stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bitok wants it to stay on the feet. Buktot shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bitok counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Buktot! Bitok working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here. Buktot is trying to control Bitok's posture but Bitok avoids it. Bitok just content to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Buktot is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buktot shoots in for a takedown but Bitok shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dawindi Buktot. That's going to take a lot out of him. Buktot gets caught napping as Bitok dives in and scores a takedown. Buktot manages to retain guard. Buktot controls Bitok momentarily but Bitok frees himself. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buktot can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bitok controls the pace. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kulata Bitok dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Buktot leaves Bitok with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Buktot attempts a counter takedown but Bitok avoids it well and moves away. Bitok has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Buktot looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bitok is fending him off so far but Buktot persists. Nope, Bitok circles away and we're back to standing. And Bitok responds with a good body kick, but Buktot manages to step out the way in time. Both fighters circling a little - Bitok finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bitok tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Buktot swivels and escapes. Buktot doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bitok counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bitok was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dawindi Buktot. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bitok gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bitok seems keen to control Buktot's posture. Bitok keeping moving, preventing Buktot from controlling successfully. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Bitok controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot wants to control from the top but Bitok keeps moving. Buktot is fighting to break Bitok's control of his arms but Bitok is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Bitok wants to sweep here but Buktot controlling him for the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buktot shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bitok as he avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Buktot shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Bitok looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bitok keeping moving, preventing Buktot from controlling successfully. Bitok wants to hit a sweep here but Buktot passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Bitok there! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bitok tries to hold on but Buktot pushes him away. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dawindi Buktot dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Buktot looking to score a takedown here. Bitok is defending well but Buktot drives through and ends up in Bitok's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Buktot is posturing up here but Bitok has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Buktot tries to roll out but it's too tight and Buktot has to tap! Slick submission there by Bitok!
