And in the blue corner, fighting out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 14 losses; John Doe!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Doe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jones tries to avoid it but Doe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jones to the ground. Jones escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Doe is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jones sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Jones clinches up with Doe and pushes him back against the cage.

Jones is working for takedown but Doe is calmly controlling the position for now.

Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Doe can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

It looks like Doe might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Doe must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Jones had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Doe defends it easily.
