The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Sarinnen tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Miyao defends well and Sarinnen ends up having to push Miyao into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Sarinnen gets tackled into the cage by Miyao. Miyao maintains the clinch. Miyao is defending well against a takedown attempt. Sarinnen wants a takedown but no success here.
Joao Miyao has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samuel Sarinnen. Sarinnen is trying to pull guard but Miyao turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Sarinnen pulls guard successfully.
