Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Dickweed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Al Bundy!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dickweed fails with the takedown.
Bundy doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Bundy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Dickweed sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Dickweed wants to clinch.
Dickweed gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Dickweed tries to pull guard but Bundy forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Bundy turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Bundy has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Dickweed!
Bundy is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Dickweed has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Dickweed keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Dickweed is breathing heavily.
Bundy lands a couple of good shots and Dickweed has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bundy is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Dickweed knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Dickweed for a finish.
Bundy is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Dickweed has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Bundy has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Dickweed taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Bundy doesn't care though - he's delighted!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Al Bundy!
A very excited looking Al Bundy made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
