The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Sano and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kamazaky fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Liu, pushing him back against the cage.

Kamazaky breaks the clinch.
Liu fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Liu is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kamazaky changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Kamazaky clinches up against the cage.

Kamazaky escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Liu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
As Liu looks to move away, Kamazaky throws a big counter combo but Liu just gets out of the way.
Liu tries to clinch but Kamazaky moves away
and Kamazaky connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kamazaky clinches.
Kamazaky tries to pull guard but Liu forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Kamazaky prevents the takedown attempt.
Kamazaky fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kamazaky keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Liu's efforts to push away.

Liu turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Kamazaky tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Liu presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Kamazaky is trying desperately to improve position.

Liu working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Liu controlling from the full mount.
Liu looking to control but Kamazaky is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Kamazaky is looking to get to half guard.
Kamazaky knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Liu on the ground.
Liu tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Kamazaky is wriggling around trying to escape.
Liu controlling the position easily from mount.
Kamazaky takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Kamazaky tries to improve his position but Liu has taken his back! Liu has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Kamazaky tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Liu pushes Kamazaky away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
