PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jaylen Krueger (ranked 3928 p4p, 4063 weight class) and Whoopie Bunghole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jaylen Krueger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Whoopie Bunghole!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Krueger looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Bunghole!
Krueger controls the position from side control.
Bunghole is looking for a sweep.
You can see the frustration on Bunghole's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Bunghole is looking to regain half guard here but Krueger keeps moving and retains side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bunghole can't do much from the bottom here.

Bunghole is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Krueger off and has taken his back!

Bunghole is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Krueger is defending well though. Bunghole let's go of the attempt for now.

Krueger tries to roll but Bunghole sticks to his back.
Krueger surviving as best he can, preventing damage.

Bunghole is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
Krueger can't escape the position.
Krueger tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Bunghole jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Krueger is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Krueger and Bunghole has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Bunghole sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Krueger is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Krueger is trying to control Bunghole's posture but Bunghole avoids it.
Bunghole is looking to take a break and control but Krueger is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bunghole tries to advance to mount but Krueger denies him.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Krueger is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bunghole off and has taken his back!

I would not like to be Bunghole right now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Krueger is looking for the choke from the back position but Bunghole is controlling his hands well.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Whoopie Bunghole will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Krueger gets a clinch.

Krueger drags the fight down to the ground.
Krueger is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Krueger is trying to keep Bunghole in close.
Bunghole wants to stand and escape but instead Krueger has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Bunghole is trying to get back to half guard.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Bunghole is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Bunghole manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Krueger dives in and scores a takedown into Bunghole's guard.

Bunghole manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Krueger prevents Bunghole from breaking the clinch.

Krueger's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Krueger fails to land the takedown.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bunghole is looking to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bunghole shoots in for a double leg but Krueger sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Krueger blocks the body kick.
It looked like Krueger was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Bunghole tries to keep at a distance but Krueger has taken the fight into the clinch.

Krueger's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bunghole throws a head kick that misses

and Krueger holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Bunghole tries to break the clinch but Krueger is controlling the position.

Krueger gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Bunghole being controlled here, momentarily.
Krueger will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Bunghole tries to land a sweep but no joy.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Krueger accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Krueger stops Bunghole from standing up.
Krueger seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Krueger bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Krueger looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Krueger decides to stand back up.
Bunghole slaps away a takedown attempt from Krueger, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Krueger takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Whoopie Bunghole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bunghole goes for a double leg but Krueger avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Krueger continues to drive forward.
Bunghole shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Krueger defends it nicely.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jaylen Krueger will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Krueger is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bunghole's half guard.

Bunghole has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Krueger is on him like a limpet, forcing Bunghole back against the cage.

and Krueger counters by clinching up.

Krueger turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Krueger manages to end up in side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bunghole gets his hands free as Krueger looks to control.
Krueger is really stuck here.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Krueger is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Bunghole is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Krueger knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Krueger for a finish.
Bunghole is trying to stick to Krueger's back but Krueger is turning into Bunghole. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Bunghole's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Krueger.
Krueger really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Krueger passes Bunghole's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Bunghole trying to control here.
Krueger content to control rather than advance.

Krueger looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bunghole moves into full guard.

Bunghole has his foot on Krueger's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Krueger works his way back into a safe position though.
Bunghole is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Krueger decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Bunghole throws a leg kick that is checked

and Krueger counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Krueger is standing up over Bunghole. Bunghole looks to escape but Krueger dives into side control.

Whoopie Bunghole has got the better of the ground game so far.
The referee asks Krueger politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Krueger prefers to stall for the moment though.
Bunghole takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Krueger is putting a hurting on Bunghole here, landing some big shots from side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jaylen Krueger.
I think Krueger has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
