Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, George Pierre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rodrigo Carioni!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Ben Hemmingworth and Ron Honeybunn.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pierre takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like George Pierre has been cut.
Pierre tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Carioni manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Pierre has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Carioni lands a jab to the head.
The crowd cheers as Carioni lands an impressive looking overhand right. Pierre doesn't seem phased though.
Pierre tries to clinch but Carioni moves out of range.
Nice defenses there by Carioni.
Pierre uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Carioni.
Pierre throws a looping overhand right but Carioni ducks down to avoid it.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Pierre steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Carioni.
Pierre throws a right and a left that both miss.
Carioni connects with a looping right hand.
Carioni has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Pierre is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Pierre walks into a left hand.

Pierre is rocked!

George Pierre's cut is getting worse.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pierre shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Carioni sprawls well. Carioni wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pierre gets slowly back to his feet.
Carioni works Pierre's body with a nice hook.

Carioni lands a left and a right that send Pierre crashing to the mat, dazed. Carioni thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Oh Pierre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pierre tries to clinch up but Carioni circles away and keeps his distance.

and Carioni counters with a crisp right that sends Pierre to the canvas! Carioni follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
