Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gi Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruce Wayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Wayne's choice of entrance music: old batman theme song. On his way into the cage it seems that Gi Jones has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Gi Jones seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Jones throws a series of punches but Wayne avoids them all with ease.

Wayne is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Wayne jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jones manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Wayne is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Jones is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Wayne has his foot on Jones's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jones works his way back into a safe position though.
Jones would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jones stuns Wayne with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jones misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wayne takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Wayne shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jones manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Jones wants to get back to his feet but Wayne is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Gi Jones will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

and Jones counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Wayne down! Jones is looking to finish but Wayne is intelligently defending himself.

Jones gets to his feet - Wayne follows without any prompting.

Jones throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Wayne seems to have recovered his senses.
Jones throws a hook but Wayne avoids it easily.
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Wayne is just out of range.

and Jones counters with a series of strikes. Wayne will be more careful next time no doubt.

Wayne has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jones finds it's way round the side to connect with Wayne's head.

Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wayne is breathing heavily.

Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Wayne circles away.
Wayne takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jones throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Wayne colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Jones as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Wayne is left battered and dazed whilst Jones and his camp cheer!
