Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Nunes (ranked 2310 p4p, 2002 weight class) and Daroshev Faroshev (ranked 293 p4p, 258 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Daroshev Faroshev was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mauricio Nunes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Daroshev Faroshev! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Faroshev throws a hook but Nunes avoids it easily. Nice cross by Faroshev.
It looks like Mauricio Nunes has been cut. Nunes ducks under a wild hook from Faroshev. Faroshev looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Faroshev misses with an uppercut. Nunes saw that one coming. Faroshev throws a looping overhand right but Nunes ducks down to avoid it. Faroshev connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Nunes ducks under a wild hook from Faroshev. Faroshev pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jab by Faroshev. Faroshev slips a jab from Nunes. Nunes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Nunes ducks under a wild hook from Faroshev. Nunes is looking to clinch but Faroshev is avoiding it.
Nunes swings for the body but Faroshev moves out of range.
Daroshev Faroshev seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nunes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Faroshev moves away. Faroshev looks to land a right hand but Nunes moved out of range. As Faroshev tries to get set, Nunes tries to push him back and clinch up but Faroshev manages to avoid the attempt. Faroshev feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Nunes sprawling to the canvas! Nunes rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Faroshev finish him?!
Nunes is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Faroshev ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Nunes's jaw. Nunes's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Faroshev does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Daroshev Faroshev!
