Tsyrukyn has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Arman Tsyrukyn has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsyrukyn throws a lazy right hand but Angius sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Tsyrukyn is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A little jabbing left from Angius on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Angius bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tsyrukyn's head backwards.
Tsyrukyn takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Tsyrukyn shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Angius is trying to defend but Tsyrukyn finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Tsyrukyn is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Angius can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Angius misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tsyrukyn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Angius's waist but Angius gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tsyrukyn off to one side.
Angius swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Tsyrukyn takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Angius tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tsyrukyn manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Angius throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Tsyrukyn.
Angius stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Angius wants it to stay on the feet.
