The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryker lands with a cross.
Browne swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Ryker counters with a nice uppercut.
Browne tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Ryker has closed the distance and engaged Browne in a clinch.
Browne is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Ryker pulls Browne into guard.
Browne would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Ryker looking for a sweep. Not yet Ryker, not yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Browne is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Let's hope that Browne has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Browne wants to control from the top but Ryker keeps moving.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup.
Ryker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

and Ryker counters with a left and a right that hurts Browne! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Ryker jumps into full mount!
