And in the blue corner, fighting out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Wingers Son!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Chris Saunders and Paul Gruel.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Son rushes Thayer and presses him up against the cage.
Son jumps guard and drags Thayer to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Thayer wants to lay and pray for a moment but Son keeps working.
Thayer is really struggling to control Son but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Son tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Thayer wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Son is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Thayer gets his way!

Thayer looking to break Son's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Son remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Thayer will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
