Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Stanley Reynolds (ranked 3687 p4p, 997 weight class) and Anwar Hussin (ranked 435 p4p, 138 weight class). Hussin has chosen Shooting Stars ft. Toro y moi (Flume Cover) as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Hussin has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Anwar Hussin enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stanley Reynolds! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Anwar Hussin! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reynolds wants to clinch but Hussin slips to the side and Hussin counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hussin. Reynolds is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hussin is controlling him. Hussin trying to control but Reynolds is working from the bottom. Reynolds trying to keep a closed guard but Hussin is proving a slippery customer.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reynolds looking for a guillotine here but Hussin defends easily.
Hussin working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Reynolds's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hussin postures up in Reynolds's guard and throws a big left but Reynolds blocks it. Hussin wants to control from the top but Reynolds keeps moving.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. No luck for Reynolds with that takedown attempt. Reynolds fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Reynolds tries to clinch up. Hussin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Reynolds looks to clinch and Hussin counters with a takedown into side control. Reynolds wants to get back to his feet but Hussin is dominant here and he's now got Reynolds's back! Reynolds definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Reynolds looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Hussin controlling well, preventing Reynolds from escaping the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hussin lands shots from the back. Reynolds trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Oooh a big shot gets through from Hussin. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Reynolds knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hussin on the ground. Hussin struggling to keep hold of the position.

Hussin is working the ground and pound. Can Reynolds escape? Hussin is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Hussin throwing damaging strikes from the back! Reynolds could be in trouble here!
Hussin is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Hussin gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Hussin gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Hussin apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Reynolds shoots in and drives through. Hussin sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stanley Reynolds. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hussin closes the distance and clinches. Hussin gets underhooks to prevent Reynolds's takedown attempt.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Reynolds wants a takedown but no success here.
Hussin tries to work over Reynolds's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Reynolds with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Anwar Hussin dominated that round. The cut man is working on Anwar Hussin's cut. That's time! Reynolds's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Reynolds looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hussin is fending him off so far but Reynolds persists. Nope, Hussin circles away and we're back to standing. Reynolds rushes Hussin and presses him up against the cage. Hussin has Reynolds pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Reynolds manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Reynolds is looking to take this one to the mat. Reynolds taking a breather. Reynolds stalling against the cage.

Hussin tries to control but Reynolds wriggling away. Reynolds is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hussin lands with some strikes. Reynolds is squirming around, avoiding Hussin's attempts to control the action. Reynolds tries to hold on but Hussin pushes him away. Hussin scoring with strikes but Reynolds is staying in there. Reynolds on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Reynolds tries to get out of the position. Hussin is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Hussin has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Reynolds's face.
Hussin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Reynolds is looking for a sweep. Hussin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hussin wants to control but Reynolds is keeping him busy. Hussin prevents Reynolds from improving his position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Reynolds tries to clinch but Hussin moves away and Hussin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Reynolds controls Hussin momentarily but Hussin frees himself. Hussin tries to free his leg and advance position but Reynolds is retaining full guard. Hussin makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Reynolds looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

And that's the end of the fight! Anwar Hussin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Hussin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
